At the Be Great Project, we believe that local nonprofits have the potential to change lives, but they need the resources to do it. Together, we can bridge the gap between their vision and the funding they need to make it a reality.
Our Mission
Our mission is to take meaningful action in reducing childhood food insecurity across New Jersey. By partnering with food banks and local communities, we provide weekend meals to students in need, ensuring they have access to nutritious food when school meals aren’t available.
Our Special Mission: 90/10 Flip
The Food Bank Network of Somerset County only has enough funding to help provide weekend meals to only 10% of the school kids who qualify. Our special mission is to flip the number to 90%.
Facts
- Local nonprofits are full of great people who want to help others. Unfortunately, they often lack the resources and funds to maximize their impact.
- Affluent towns have religious groups, business organizations, community groups, and high school clubs that want to help others. Many of these groups welcome nonprofit speakers.
What We Do
- Regularly speak in front of affluent groups to educate them on the amazing work that their local nonprofits are doing.
- Set up donation drives for nonprofits in affluent towns.
- Create Shark Tank-like events for nonprofits in affluent towns.
